What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to pay my brother in high school fee. I bought 2 cows. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now get free milk from my cow which I bought with GD money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it give us liquid cash to spend and mitigate our problems. At the moment, I'm not sure what GD doesn't do well.

I spent most of my second transfer on buying 20 sheep as an investment.

The biggest difference in my daily life is having invested in the sheep, at least I have something to turn to when need arises.

I spent my first transfer on buying a chair, I also payed school fees for my daughter who just joined form one and I also bought fertilizer that I used in doing farming

I felt very happy when I received the cash because it gave me hope of taking my daughter (who was joining form one) to school

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We have planned to invest on farming,we will also use part of the money to expand our business and pay school fees for our children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that through farming I have been able to buy some livestock.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship was when my house got burnt down and we did not save anything. My child also did well in his final exams but he could not join high school because of lack of money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of day is when am able to provide for my family daily.
