Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The money enabled me to expand my business to a great extent which I know will help the family in the near future.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have repaired my house and it will very different from how it is today. In addition to that, I am sure my business will be doing so well and my family will be able to live comfortably from the proceeds realized from the business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different because I am able to clear fees balances and also expand my business to some extent, something that proved to be an uphill task for me in the past.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I am currently planning to repair my house when I get the second transfer from GD. I will combine efforts with my daughters so that we can make that house look more presentable.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have ever faced is when I lost my second born son and few months later I lost my husband. It was the most painful moment for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when am my shop and I get to talk to my customers .
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Besides being a teacher I run a cosmetic shop and so when I get the first transfer I will expand my shop. I will use the second transfer to clear school fees for my children who are still in high school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievements is having educated my children single handedly to University level and now two of them are employed.
