How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When I received the money I had planned to buy enough food because we didn't have enough food as a family.

GiveDirectly does well by assisting us when we are struggling and there is nothing that it does not do well

The most recent transfer I used it buy household utensils because I didn't have the enough household utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to be in this program. I will use the money to buy food and clothes for my children. I will use some of the money to buy basic needs such as plates and buckets
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy sometimes because I know that problems will never end. I am mostly happy when I have money because I know that I will be able to buy food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge that I face is lack of food. I live near the lake and it is hard to grown crops such as maize because of this we have very little food.
