What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying barbed wire 15000 KES . I bought household expenditures.I have also saved some money 25,000 KES which I am planning to use on pursuing my tree plantation project.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have expanded my haircut business and now I am getting double income from it since before the transfer my business was almost collapsing due to low sales and profits. I can say I feel encouraged since GiveDirectly has passed me through a big stepping stone although I haven't reached the end of the tunnel but I believe I will definitely pass through.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by carrying-out a door to door visitation which enabled it to reach the required target groups that is the poorest households and now their living standards has improved positively.

I spent my second transfer on boosting my barber shop business at 10,000 KES, paid 6,000 KES debt, gave 11,000 KES to buy house items, gave 5,000 KES tithe in our church, used 3,000 KES to till land, bought two sacks of maize at 6,000 KES, then used the rest of the cash on food and other little house errands.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am now able to get better income from my barber business than before. Am also hopeful of getting higher yields from my farms.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to boost my barber "kinyozi" business with the first transfer. The rest i will use to build a local chicken house so that I may start poultry keeping business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did not have a land but I worked hard and purchased a piece and today my family owns one.That makes me proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that my wife is sickling ,she went for surgery and so she can not do any hard work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am working in my Kinyozi business.
