How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In six months’ time, I have high expectations that poultry project will be at its peak and I will be reaping benefits from this activity. I just imagine myself getting lots of eggs for the family’s consumption. My family’s health would improve and I will never lack income for other family use.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that we got a good harvest of maize which is as a result of the transfer which I have been receiving from GiveDirectly. I had invested part of my monthly transfers the previous year to buy fertilizers and quality maize seeds. This resulted in harvesting high yield which we had never harvested before as we could not afford to buy farm inputs. I am now happy that I will no longer buy maize for consumption as we now have enough to take us all throughout to the next season.
