How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am Mannah Varney from Koniah town, Bomi county Liberia. I planned to renovate my house with my last cash transfer before receiving the cash.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is a committed and trustworthy organization. This organization is one of the honest group I have interacted with in Liberia. I am so pleased and want to extend thanks and appreciation to Givedirectly and those who contributed in taking me from one level to another through the cash transfer program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Upon cashing out my transfer, I bought twenty bags of cement and five loads of sand for plastering of my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I planned to plaster my house, buy half lot of land in monrovia, and two plastic chairs before receiving my third cash transfer from Givedrectly .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedrectly promise to transfer money to my account in four installment and they are committed to sending the cash to my mobile account. This organization didn't favor one person but everyone in this village. I haven't experience anything that Givedrectly is not doing well in this village. I am so excited and want to thanks Givedrectly for helping me and others residents of this village.

I bought five bags of cement for plastering of my house, two pickup load of sand, two plastic chairs and paid part payment for the half lot of land in monrovia..

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I plan to buy land, to improve my old house with a new roof, to start a business, to buy furniture and to pay my children school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well for me, by sending me this money to paid my children school fees, start a business and do other things. Now, I can eat on time, not thinking again how my children will go to school. My life has improved. I am grateful to give directly.

I did part payment of the money for the land, bought Zinc and cement to improve my house with a new roof, started a business and paid my children school fees.

I feel so happy because, I was able to solve some of my problems with the transfer give directly send me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" I have three things on mind to do with my money. The e first thing, I will send my daughter to college. The second, by the grace of God I will complete my house and the third, If the money is plenty, I will invest some in business ( buy fire coal and sell it)
What is the happiest part of your day?
" I have never been happy because I don't have money. I can say is only today I am happy because I have little hope that something ( money) will come at the end. Thanks to GiveDirectly and all the people who put hand together to help us.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" The challenges we facing, this year some of my children were going to school and they drop because I am not working, no money. If GiveDirectly help me with money, the challenges will reduce." To eat is also a problem sometimes, the food business here is hard. One cup of rice is 50LD, even to get it in this village is hard, we can walk 15 minutes to enable us buy rice.
