How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different after receiving my transfer in that, I was able to boost my livestock rearing job by additional 3goats and one cow. I am getting enough milk supply for my family unlike back in the days that I had to purchase it from my friend. In addition, I was able to acquire a piece of land near our marketplace. I am planning to construct a rental house when I save enough money in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well for sending us t transfers directly to my phone. At moment, my life has changed for the better through the transfer because I was allowed to plan on myself.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent $380 of my second transfer on built a new and proper shelter for my family because our previous house was not spacious to accommodate all family members and our properties, In addition, it was about to collapse. I also bought one local dairy cow for $150, l am getting sufficient milk supply for my household consumption. I used the remaining amount to purchase adequate foodstuffs for my family.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was around 1300Hrs and I was at home just relaxing in the house. I heard a message come into my phone and when I checked, it was the Mpesa message. I was very very happy as I had been waiting for that money, so I could finally put it into use into projects that I had failed to implement due to financial strain.
