How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Now i know i will have my own house and am very happy that the house will stand for more years to come

Giving us money is what give directly did well because we were able to buy things that we need in our lives without anybody telling us what to do according to our needs

From day 1 give directly came to our village to unform us about the program i was thinkin of buolding a new house, so after the money reflecred in my airtel money account i started buying building materials and now iam just waiting for te rain season to pass so i should start building a new strong house using the money

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when i received the money. At that moment i knew some of the problems i was experiencing at first due to my poverty will be reduced and standard of living will improve.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has now changed as kids are now very happy as we have enough food than before. Most of the things I couldn't do before are now easier because of the money available.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money by buying iron sheets, cement and other materials for building a house. I have always desired a good house and this money has enabled me to fulfil that. Some of the money went towards buying maize and also fertlizer as we are currently in the farming season. Furthermore, my house didn't have adequate household items so i purchased some too.
