How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving the transfers I bought beddings, food and 6 iron sheets. If I earn more money after selling my pigeons peas I want to buy 14 iron sheets because I want to build a bigger house, I was not able to buy the required iron sheets because of a rise in prices.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The organisation has helped us to purchase things that we could have not been able to do. There is nothing that Givedirectly has not done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 1 blanket at k25000 and food 2 bags of maize at k15000 per bag

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy to have received this money. I will use this money to buy food and cooking utensils that i lost during the floods.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Mostly is the times we have received food from other organisations after days of going by without food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The most challenge i face staying in this camp is hunger. The people that help us food sometimes take long to bring food tjat leads to us being hungry or begging from people whose homes did not fall.
