How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was living a house that was not strong enough and used mud for the floor but now with the coming help from give directly I have improved my house not it is a very beautiful and strong house
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well on walking door to door conducting surveys per household because in this way we were able to be open enough and respond to the survey honestly withought fear of other people to laugh at us
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have kept the second transfer I received from give directly, waiting for the rains to stop so that i should start improving the floor of my house with Cement, i user the first transfer to improve the walls of my house and now I am improving the floor

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and thankful to Give Directly for the funds they sent. I knew from that moment pf receiving money that my level of poverty has been reduced drastically and am now a very happy person.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference has been the shift from getting worried where meals will come from to now lookinh forward to eat good food everyday. Children are even happy and look brighter in the clothes i bought.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought the necessary household items that i had been lacking for so long. These were mattress, blankets and other beddings. I also purchased sevwral baga of fertilizer for my garden. Since i already had a house, i just bought other items such as utensils and clothes too.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so excited that i will receive the transfer,this is so because I'm really struggling and this organisation just thought of enrolling me into this programme.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm the happiest in the morning because that when I get to eat,i love tea so much doesn't matter if i won't have lunch but if i drink tea all goes well.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
So far the biggest challenge is i don't have a nice house,i literally sleep on the floor and i need to pay school fees for my children.
