How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because am looking healthy, I am able to feed well and I sleep on good bedding. I have also paid my grand children school fees and I have hope that they will help me in future. I used to depend on loans from saving groups but they charged high interest rates which was not easy to pay.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give most members of my community money. This has promoted peace because everybody is happy. All is good, I do not see any bad in their work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for paying school fees for my grand children. I offered UGX 50,000 for a church project.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is filled with happiness because I able to procure an irrigation pump.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I Thanked God a moment I saw the message and my heart was filled with joy. I was very happy to receive this money because I have never held this kind of money at once in my entire life, I thanked the donors for supporting us and having a giving heart.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
Immediately I received my transfer I decided to take some money to the church because it wasn't my will to benefit from give directly but God's. Since we have a problem of drought in this dry season, I used some money to procure a water pump for irrigating the fields in order to increase food production. I spent some money to plaster my house because it wasn't a complete house. I also helped my daughters with little money each since they need financial support from me.
