Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received the money message i did not believe it my self i had to ask a couple of people to read out the message for me not because i don't know how to read, but because i coudn't believe it, i was over the moon that i even singed my lungs out for Give Directly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
So far there is a big difference with how i used to be and how I am as of now,in the past years I used to worry and stress alot about finding money for my farm in puts especially fertilizer but to day i am all calm knowing that I am sorted this year looks like it's going to be a great year with great harvest I really thank you Give Directly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received the transfer the first thing to buy was iron sheets I did this because I have plans to build a house as currently I live in a kitchen and I'm just waiting for dry season to do that since it's a bit difficult to build a house in this rain season, secondly i bought a bicycle in our village any one who owns a bicycle is a very respected person so I did not buy the bicycle for business but I bought it for household purposes, i then use the other part of the transfer to buy farm inputs like fertiliser and i also bought some maize for food, also when I received the transfer I was 8 months pregnant and I use part of it to buy baby staff and paying hospital bills the transfer really helped me.
