I spent my second transfer on buying 37 pieces of iron sheets since I am planning to use them on building a decent house in my own homestead. I paid school fees for my son who is in high school . I also added stock into my small retail business
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have managed to buy the necessary building materials and now I am assured of building my own homestead that I have been longing for as the customary law states.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy school uniform, books, shoes for my children, bought 20 tins of maize for consumption and the remaining amount I spent to buy food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the money, I was very happy because I was now going to be able to solve my problem which I had at that particular time but could not solve due to my financially status. Thank you GD for the transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is lack of shelter since I am forced to rent a very small house because my house feel down after the death of my husband and I was not able to put up another one due to lack of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the morning after doing casual work and getting some money to take care of my children that is when I am always very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to realize that I am going to receive money from Givedirectly because I am planning to build my own house and pay school fees for my children.
