What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
With the cash transfer, I plan to purchase a plot of land worth £1081 on which I will plant crops so that we can get enough food to survive on for some good period of time. I also plan to buy two cows at £432 which will provide us with milk after some time and we also enjoy taking and also selling to cater for other basic needs. Then the balance of £378 will help me to start up a poultry farm which will enable us to raise daily income to settle all emergencies in the home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, I felt happy when I harvested coffee which enabled me get money to help me pay for basic needs at home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest problem we face is hunger as a result of poverty and inadequate land which hinders us from planting crops on a large scale to get enough food hence sturving sometimes. Another challenge we facing is inadequate shelter which cannot accommodate us well which at times bring about bad sleeping.
