What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to build a pit latrine. I have been using open defecation after my old latrine collapsed.I also used part of the transfer to buy food for my family and build a permanent house. I used to have a very squeezed house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am going to have to a permanent house and nice pit latrine. I will no longer have to use open defecation. I am so happy for GiveDirectly and grateful too.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to pay hospital bill for my child who was very sick, l am happy l am back home with my child a live because of Give Directly. I spent the remaining transfer to buy 1 sack of maize and so my children are eating comfortably.

The moment l received the transfer l was very happy because I knew all my dreams will come true.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship was when I was sick and didn't have money to go to the hospital.I was forced to sell the only cow I had to pay the bill.5
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I am burning charcoal to sell because it is our only source of income.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am excited to be part of the programme and wished it was a long time project.I am not even stressed up and I feel like all my problems are solved.
