How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I am able to pay school fees on time fo rmy children who in turn gets ample time in school to study without the fear of being sent away from school due to any ending fee balances. With the transfers, I am able to hire extra manpower to help in my big farms, this helps in increasing the number of harvests we gather every season. There is always a surplus which we sell to get the income and also consume to nourish us. We buy better seeds that tends to do well even in the semi-arid areas.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal to save and buy building materials like iron sheets and nails that I plan to use in extending my house which hardly accommodates our growing family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The difference in my daily life is that I have improved my farming skills. I can now buy better maize seeds which help improve the quality and quantity of the maize I harvest at the end of the season. We live in a semi-arid area where we hardly experience many showers of rain to help in sustaining the plants so it is the right to use the hybrid maize seeds. I am also capable of buying fertilizers to help boost my maize plants and speed up their growth too. With this, I have grown into a better farmer who garners great produce at the end of each harvest.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
At the end of the six months, my family will have livestock to their name as financial security. I have always wanted to be an all-round farmer and I am glad that GD has given me the honor of being one. By then I shall be having a very beautiful and spacious house that will accommodate my large family comfortably.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have always had food in my house. I do not struggle as I used to before the transfers. I always use my monthly transfers to buy food in bulk which has given me easy feeding my family. They are healthy and the many quarrels I used to have in the house are no more. My children to don't go to my neighbors' house to look for food as before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy a goat. This will be an investment for me and my family. I know when it reproduces, the number will increase hence increasing my net worth will increase. I know I won't struggle anymore.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I desired to have a new house since the one I had was old and grass thatched. The grass on the roof too had started coming off and repairing it was very costly. I decided that the best way to solve the issue was to build a new house. I had started saving but was still far from my target. This is because of my low income from casual work which is not very consistent at all. With GD transfers, my savings went up so quickly because of the transfers. I was able to buy building materials such as iron sheets timber and nails which I have used in building a new iron-roofed house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be having my own cow. The reason I have decided to buy a cow is that when it reproduces, I will have milk which I will sell some to raise money for income as well as family consumption. When the number increases, I can sell some to raise money for school fees and other family needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different than it was four months ago because I have been relieved from the finance-related stress. From the monthly transfers, I have been able to pay school fees for my child in a private primary school promptly, a situation that has made her teachers to build trust in me. In addition, I am always able to buy food for my family so easily.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my new goal is to extend one side of my house and add a kitchen and two more sleeping rooms. I shall therefore save my transfers and use the money to buy some iron sheets which I shall use for the extension of the house. I shall be glad to have a spacious house which can comfortably accommodate my children and my visitors.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfer, the biggest difference in my life is ploughing my pieces of land in time. At the moment, my two farms are fully prepared and I am just waiting to plant maize seeds as soon we begin the rainy season. This will make me be able to get a better harvest compared to last season.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to extend my house. I have been sleeping in a small house hence my children have been forced to sleep at my neighbor's kitchen. The new house will be spacious to accommodate both my children and my relatives who will visit us in the future.

I hope I will have completed building my house so that I can spend the rest of the transfers on starting livestock farming.
