Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have always been investing in farming and livestock keeping for a couple of years and through these, It has always enabled me to put food to the table. At the moment, due to old age, I find working on the farm being so tiresome hence always forces me to hire labourers at times. Because of this, I have a goal to purchase an additional dairy cow since rearing livestock is much easier than working on the farm. Besides, the income I will generate from the milk sale will not only cater for my daily household needs but also pay my farm labourers. I believe I will be able to achieve this goal with the support of my children and income from the sale of my farm produce.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am happier because I am always been in a position to not only meet my basic needs on a daily basis but also managed to educate my grandchildren. Receiving transfers from GiveDirectly has greatly reduced my financial burden which has also enabled me to extend my helping hand to those in need.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that my life will be much better because I will have accomplished most of my goals in life. I believe that if I succeed in purchasing the dairy cow, It will really boost my income and my family wellbeing will greatly improve. Also, my health will improve such that I will no longer experience back pains as before because I will cease working on the farm and concentrate more on livestock keeping which is less tiresome

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to buy a dairy cow. For a long time we have been buying milk in our household. Buying this dairy cow has reduced the cost of living by a great extent and the money that was initially used to buy milk has now been diverted into other meaningful income generating practices such as farming. We took part in a merry go round contribution to be able to raise enough money that assisted us in buying the dairy cow.
