What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used the money to pay the debt on the land that i bought using the first transfer. I then bought a cow at 500,000. I also bought rice for retail at 220,000/.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD helps people to transform lives. They gave me money without a condition of paying back. What bad thing can i see with such people?
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed. I wish you could see me now. Am all smiling and thanking God for GD. I am a widow but now own land and a Business of selling rice. My life is new. God bless GD

The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is the loss of my child who I trusted and thought she will be able to help me. She was the only daughter I had.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when i have money, because i know that I can afford whatever I need in life.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy land and livestock, which will help to improve the standards of living in my family. I will also be able to help other children who have failed to continue with education.
