What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have two children in school both in secondary and college so when I received my second transfer I used a larger portion of it to clear their school fee arrears. They have now settled their balance and my son who is in college will now be able to sit for his final examinations next year. I also built a house for my son because he didn't have a place to sleep on so he used to seek sleeping space in neighbors home which I considered risky.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well in giving cash to the needy and let them decide on what to do with the money. I don't see anything Gd is not doing well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would be if I didn't the money because if it was not for the money I wouldn't be able to clear my son's fee which means he wouldn't be able to sit for his final examinations. My son too would still be sleeping in neighbours home because I couldn't manage to build the house on my own.

The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay fees for my son who is in a technical college. If I am unable to raise the required amount he might have to defer his studies and this really worries me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because the Lord has blessed me with life.
