How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
" Through this money I will have my ironsheets house of my own, I have enough food no hunger worries for my family and through this money I applied enough fertiliser in my farm which really shows that I will harvest more yields than ever."
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
It is a good program that doesn't involves chiefs if community leaders were involved then some of us couldn't be part of the program so continue enrolling people using your criteria of door to door by yourselves.

Since with the first transfer we bought house building materials now we are using the money to build the house and we also bought food since we haven't harvested yet

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I received the transfer the good thing is I stopped in primary 7 so I sometimes try to read english,so on that day when I received the transfer i couldn't stop smiling and I really thank Givedirectly for this life changing opportunity.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I'm able to eat three times a day now since i secured much food for my household this is so because all along i used to eat once a day and I'm so excited and also i will be living in my own house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Personally I don't have a house i live in rent houses and kitchen when I got the transfer that was my que for me to start building my own house so i used almost 60 percent of the transfer to buy house building materials,and used the other remaining money to buy 3 blankets,matress,4 bags of maize,1 bag of fertiliser,education for my child and saved some for my household.

Receiving this money is a huge relief for me as I will use it to build a better house since I have a small house that is not good looking and badly leaks
