How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I sleep on mattress and successfully paid my children's tuition. Previously, we used to sleep on mats and my children used to be fees defaulters. In addition, my small business was boosted and it has improved my returns as compared to the past when the stock was less.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by improving my living standards because I have bought a lot of things that I never owned before with the transfer. On the other hand, there is completely nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have used part of my second transfer to buy food, bicycle and for harvesting crops. I also used it to add stock to my business, with the balance I intend to use it for buying an ox and the ox plough.
