The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly is that I'm proud I have a cow. I have been saving some money for buying so the money I used to save I'm using to boost my business.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have joined college.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My l ife is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the money from GiveDirectly in that if it wasn't for GD I wouldn't be doing good in the business.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is, lack of employment hence I am unable to raise enough money to take good care of my family members. Currently I am facing hard times since my wife separated because I have not paid dowry to her parents.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is, in the evening after job especially when I get some money that I can use to buy food for the family which we take gladly as we share.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to buy a dairy cow which will provide me with milk. I shall be selling most of the milk to generate some income which I shall be saving and later use to purchase local cows for paying my wife's dowry.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of in life is, having pursued a Diploma course on animal health. I can now I get my daily income from this since the community members always call me to treat their livestock at a cost whenever they are sick.
