How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different as i am able to educate my children using the money i received from GiveDirectly and i used to stay in grass thatched house and now planning to build an improved house

It does well by providing us money so that we use it on what we need and i there is nothing that it did not do well

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i saw the notification message that i have received money from Givedirectly i was very happy because i knew that i will be able to buy most of the things that i was lacking.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
During the rainy season it has been difficult for us to sleep because we had a grass thatched house and it was leaking, so when i received my transfer from Givedirectly i bought iron sheets to roof my house and now me and my family we can afford to sleep in peace.

Iron sheets, mattress, fertilizer, Maize , kitchen utensils and school fees for my children

To me this cash means that I will now be able to solve most of the financial difficulties which Iam currently facing.

Iam happiest in the evening because it is the time I rest after a tiresome day of trying to make ends meet during the day.

The biggest hardship of my life is that of poverty.
