What does receiving this money mean to you?
I completed my primary school studies and never had the opportunity to proceed to college due to lack of money. My plan is using this money to plan for my studies. I would like to do a tailoring course. For the first transfer, I will save 2,000 KES and for my college fees and then buy myself clothes with 500 KES and use the remaining 500 KES for buying chicken. I will be saving 2,000 KES for my studies every month.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My father bought me two dresses in December. That brought joy to my life because my clothes were all worn out. My father has been so caring even though he has a lot of struggles.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My parents farm during the rains but on most occasions, they sell charcoal. My biggest challenge right now is that my parents cannot afford my college education. I have 5 siblings still in school and this makes it difficult for my parents to pay school fees for all of us. I would really love to gain a skill that will help me fend for myself.
