What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a plot of land where I plan to build a house and grow some crops like maize to feed my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received the transfer because as woman I have been able to buy land which would have been impossible with out the transfer since I don't have a source of income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly is a transparent and fair organization and fulifills whatever it promises. It's not like some organizations which come and promise people things and then after they don't fulfill or only give those that the chairman recommends. For that reason in my opinion Give Directly has done everything well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on renovating my house because it was very old with weak walls and the roof was almost falling off. I also paid school fees for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Living a stress free life where i dont worry anymore about school fees for my children or whether or not we shall have the next meal is the biggest difference in my life. This is because with the transfers I was able to secure a source of income.

I am planning to spend the cash transfer on constructing a bigger decent house for my family which will create some privacy.

I do rear chicken on a free range system that i benefit eggs and chicken for sale to pay school fees for my children, and also buy basic necessities for my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge i do experience even upto now is the long drought this year that has made my crops dry in the garden and has left me with no food to feed my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during evening hours when my children are back from school, and i chat with them about what they studied for that day.
