Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, we intend to pool our transfers together with like-minded neighbours so that we would raise bigger amounts. It is our plan to spent these savings on buying a heifer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in the last four months is that we bought one sheep. Now we have two of them which we bought as a result of the transfers which we have been receiving from Give Directly. We joined hands together with my wife in this investment so that we would have more livestock in the near future. We made this investment that we would have an asset which in case of an emergency we would sell and cushion ourselves over pressing financial need.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would have bought a heifer to add to the ones which I have presently. Having a heifer would mean that in a few months the animal will ready for service and after it calves down I will have double milk production from our farm which means we will be earning more income through the sale of milk.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to start saving some money that I will use to pay school fees for my son when schools reopen. This will allow him to study well and concentrate on his studies without being sent back home. As a result of this, I am optimistic that his studies will improve because he will never be missing his classes and he will also have enough time for revision.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to build a chicken coop. I have been running a poultry keeping project for some time now and after expanding it, their house became congested since it was small. I am now happy since the congestion has been eased and I can now be able to expand this project more without worrying much. Also, I have been able to buy a goat for rearing. When it reproduces and increase in number, I will sell them and use the money to buy a dairy cow.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life will have changed in that I will have cleared paying my sons' school fees. This will allow him to concentrate on his studies since he will not be sent back home. I am also hoping that I will have paid for his boarding fee so that he will not be coming back home in the evening. This will enable him to always have enough time for revision, especially in the evening.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Since this organization came to our life, I feel that I have become more responsible. I am now able to provide most of my family's needs. I recently paid my children's school fees without breaking a sweat, something I have always struggled with before when I only depended on casual jobs. We now eat a well-balanced diet three times a day. This makes me face each day with courage and enthusiasm. I am no longer worried at all.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next few months is to finish building the poultry house. With the monthly transfers and the money I will soon get from the milk produced by my dairy cow, I know I will manage to set up a bigger poultry project. I will be able to build a big poultry house and buy several chicken to start with. With the poultry business and the dairy farm, I will be able to provide for my family. I am glad that apart from the transfers that we get, this organization opened our eyes and empowered us in a big way.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now ambitious and goal oriented. Nowadays I have a habit of setting goals once I have achieved the ones I had planned for. For instance, I had purposed to buy a dairy cow. I chose this because it would boost me in attaining my other goals. If I take good care of this cow I will get several liters of milk which will earn me more income. I don't intend to sell the calves any time soon because I need more dairy cows. I have several other goals that will certainly be achieved after buying this cow. I thank Give Directly for giving me hope once again. I now live a happy and a promising life unlike before where I had no plans at all.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to buy another cow. As I wait for the current cow to reproduce, I need to add more. I want to improve and expand the scale and level of farming. Proceeds from the dairy cow and the poultry farm will help me achieve this. My financial status will definitely improve with time. I will be in a different social class compared to when Give Directly had not come to my life.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, our farm had no livestock apart from the chicken which I had brought from my neighbor so that I can rear for him. School fees payment was so hard that the only time my children would enjoy their studies was the first wees after opening days before they were sent home to collect the money. nowadays things have really changed, I am paying the school fees comfortably and after my turn in the table banking group came, I managed to purchase my own heifer and currently planning to construct a poultry house. Thanks to GiveDirectly for turning things around.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since GiveDirectly came to our village, all I have been seeing are developments. Anyone who have been having children at home have seen the go back to school, those who have been struggling with school fees payment have seen a smooth run in the last fe w terms and someone like me whose children have been going to school only when we get paid from the casual labor almost quit the casual labor to just manage our own using GiveDIrectly money. It has been grat seeing things happening to a point wher we bought a heifer. Now that our son is almost completing his studies we have a new goal to add one more heifer to the one we had earlier bought. This I can say it is very possible since we have an assurance that the GD transfers are still on untill we complete the promised term.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
School fees payment had been a challenge for so long. My children were being send home from school something which would make them stay at home for several months before I get proceeds from the casual labor I have been doing. these have been going on before I received the transfers from GiveDirectly but now I thank God that things changed. the biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that my children are enjoying
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Since we started receiving the transfers, It has been my wife's plea that we do with it something that will always be reminding us of GiveDirectly. Last month we came to an agreement that we willl start a poultry farming and with our scope we are planning to complete the project in the next six months.
