What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I built a semi-permanent house of 48 iron sheets. My former house was too tiny to enable us live more comfortably and this could violate even my privacy since I have children who are now too old to share a room with.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers in that I have managed to acquire a better house where we currently live, together with my household members-the rooms are big enough and therefore we are not straining anymore.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, I believe that Give Directly offers a bigger amount of money but since this money takes a lot of steps to receive, I feel this is very daunting to us.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials such as 35 pieces of iron sheets and a steel door since I am planning to build a a spacious three roomed house as the house I am staying in at the moment is small and it can not accommodate my family comfortably . I paid cultivation fees hence this planting season I have not practiced manual method of cultivation that is using hands.I paid school fees for my child who is in high school too.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have enough food to feed on with my family and we no longer miss meals as we used to.I am also happy since my child is now going to school since he has no school fees arrears.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy mattress as I use to sleep on cardboard. I also spent the remaining cash to buy a sheep so as I can have cattle for financial security.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to expand my current business to generate more income to sustain my family. Secondly l would wish to do better farming. Lastly l would like to expand my house because it is very small to comfortable accommodate me with my children.

My proudest achievements are that l have struggled and built iron roofed house . Secondly l managed to educate my children.
