How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before GiveDirectly came to help us, I was seriously sick and diagnosed with a cold, I used some of my transfers to seek medical attention because my goal at that time was to be in health. My goal now is to buy land close to Monrovia, by that, I will be able to do most of my activities smoothly when I move there.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally without any strain being attached to it, they are also kind and patient with recipients during interviews and solving problems that we have in the program. I don't know of anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well, everything is okay in my opinion.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been saving some of my transfers to buy land, I have decided to add my recent transfer to my savings so that I can complete the amount needed to purchase the land. I also used some of the transfers to buy food and medication because I am not too okay still.

In December 2021 during one of the mornings, I woke up from bed and heard my phone message notification, I immediately took it to one of my relatives to help me read the message because I am not educated. I also wanted to pay for my daughter school expenses but things have been so difficult, now that GiveDirectly has sent me this money, I was able to settle everything about her schooling.

I used my first transfer to buy Christmas clothes for my daughter, I also saved some of the money so that I can add it to the remaining transfers to buy a land because it has been my goal for some time now, I also bought food for my family and the balance was used to paid some of my daughter school fees.
