I am a tailor and I mostly do repairs. The money I get from this end up being spent on pressing needs like food. I have managed to pay for my son's school fees on time. I believe that by changing my location and market myself more, in six months time I will have made several steps towards achieving some of my goals. I don't think I would have made any progress at the moment if GiveDirectly had not come to our village. I could have not even thought of moving to a busier center because I could not have enough resources to do that.

My life is currently different than it was four months ago because the transfers from GiveDirectly has relieved me from stresses of raising money to support my little child. In the next six months, I expect to live peacefully because I will be living a decent life with no much struggles to provide meals for our household. Moreover, I expect to save part of my transfers and support my mother to build a decent house. She has been living in a small house which is in a bad condition. In addition, she has been desiring to build a house for the past three years although, this has not been realized due to financial constraints.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the money is that I now have a hairdressing shop that I opened with part of the GD money. This has improved my life because I now have a source of income.

In the next six months, I expect to have expanded my business.

At the moment I do not have a new goal instead I want to improve my current business.
