Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have sorghum that the family is currently feeding on previously, I had a challange of feeding my family members because we didn't have food in stock which left us without meals on days we didn't have money at hand. Secondly, my son has successfully joined a nursing school that we wouldn't afford before getting this transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My primary 6 daughter had our neighbours ululaleting at around 6:00 AM and she came to me asking for my phone, after her cross checking she informed me that I had got my money too. I was very happy to have received the money because I knew it was going to help me with my son's education.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I paid UGX 1,200,000 for my son to join a nurnsing school in Kampala and the money which was left I purchased a bag of sorghum, water drum, a big sauce pan and pair of bed sheets.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will pay school fees for my children. When my children complete school, they will get well paying jobs that will enable them to support us at our old age. We currently get out school fees through the sale of agricultural produce which is unpredictable.
In case of any balance, I will buy oxen that will support us in ploughing land. This Will improve on the timing for planting and yields. We shall sell some for paying school fees and eat some. We hire oxen for animal traction currently which makes the cost of production high.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is after lunch when I have eaten. I am happy because eating makes me productive and I then seat with my children telling stories with smiles on their faces.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is lack of a reliable source of income. We are peasant farmers and we rely of farming in order to earn a living. This is not a relible source of income because, a rent on rain fed farming which is unpredictable.
