In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in keeping their promise of sending us transfers which has changed our lives as recipients. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a bull which will aid me in ploughing, I hired a tractor to plough my farms in preparation for rice planting, paid laborers who planted my farm. I bought household furniture which I did not have, I bought a sack of maize for consumption and also bought a mattress. The remaining amount, I spent to buy school uniform and shoes for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not be living in a three roomed house as compared to the one I was living which was much smaller and also I now have livestock which I never thought I could not own. Thank you GD for the transfer
