Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy .For no sooner had I received the message than I began to read it .It then dawn on me that indeed I had received the transfer. I then called my wife informing her of the good news. We later planned and prioritize what we to purchase..
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the joy I feel when I realise that sooner or later I will be selling the milk from my dairy goats, living in a house that has been renovated and having bought some food is a dream come true for me..
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent part of my transfer on purchasing two dairy goats. Having reared goats for over 15 years, I know how fast they grow and breed, hence fetching money in a shorter time compared to other livestock. I also channelled part of the money in renovating my house a course which is in proggress. The transfer also went a long way in purchasing some food stuffs for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am looking forward to a great future of financial freedom. There is a great need for chicken in my local market that I would like to exploit. I plan to establish a poultry project with my transfer. This way, I will be able to feed and educate my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Afternoon is my happiest part of the day. I usually wake up early to tend to my flock and so I feel fulfilled when I am back and resting knowing that my main job for the day is accomplished
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of finances. I am struggling to educate my children, and yet I know that education is the best gift a parent can give his child. Farming being my main source of income isn't providing me with sufficient income because of persistent drought and crop diseases.
