What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on plastering my 3 room house (40,000 KES) which I had constructed using my second transfer. I also restocked my clothes /shoes and utensils business which had collapsed (6,000 KES)

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy iron sheets, timber and nails which I have used to build my house and also paid laborers who were building my house. I spent some amount to hire casual laborers to weed my farm. The remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption and food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have my a house and in my own compound and no longer stays at my maternal home. Thank you GD for the transfer

I spent my transfer on leasing a piece of farm land which I ploughed and planted with maize and millet seeds and I am hoping for a good harvest.

I was very happy when I received my transfer because at that time I was very broke and did not have a single cent to my name.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm sickling and sometimes bedridden, at such times my children get subjected to hunger and depression because I'm never able to go out to work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happiest at night. I get together with my children to share meals, tell stories and watch them do their homework.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving the money means that I'm going to be independent: I'll be able to construct a house and move to my own home, I'll comfortably pay my children's school fees and put food on the table without so much strain.
