What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I plastered the walls and floor of my main house with sand and cement. The condition of the house could worry me before then-it had rugged walls, dented roof and floor with potholes all over and therefore I couldn't spare to renovate it when Give Directly came to my rescue.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers from Give Directly in that currently, I live more comfortably. I live in a better house and again my wealth and value has increased too. These account for an improved living standard I have attained so far.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it works with enthusiasm. Most of its staff works with energy and determination. However, I would urge it considers including more recipients for the transfers as opposed to the smaller number that was included.
