Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at my house when i received the transfer. When I saw the alert, I danced and ululated because of happiness. It was one of my happiest day in a long time.

I have bought cement which I have applied to the floor. The floor of my house was made of mud, but with the transfer, its now cemented. I have also bought bags of maize for food. I did not have a proper sleeping place, therefore I have bought bed and mattress.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money from Givedirectly will change the status of my household, I will be able to finish my house's floor, I will buy beds to have better sleep and I will use some of the money to buy food for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
There is actually not something remarkable that brought me joy in my life for the past 6 months. But everytime I find money and be able to support my family that makes me so happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge in my life is that it is hard to find enough money to support my family. For us to eat well and clothe better all depends on money, but it is really a challenge to find money.
