How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After spending my first and second transfer in all the plans I had, I am grateful that it has brought in a huge transformation in my family.I do not have a new plan rather than to focus more on rearing of my livestock which will in turn produce more milk hence can sell to earn myself a daily income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well by giving us unconditional cash transfers and empowering us to spend on things that benefits us in long term.I do not have any complain since GiveDirectly adhere to all processes we had been informed my the officers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my second transfer, I purchased a barbed wire worth Kshs. 14,000. I used in partitioning my farm especially where I rare my livestock. Am so grateful that with all the five dairy cows I have, I can keep them in one paddock and rush out of home without worrying that it can trespass other people's farms. With the remaining amount of Kshs. 39,000 I added my savings hence I bought an additional land at a cost of Kshs. 75,000 which also act as a feeding ground for livestock. I grateful to Givedirectly for the support which impacted my livestock farming in a big way.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have purchased a heifer. I always buy milk daily and this is so costly for me. I do not have a continuous source of income. I spend on casual jobs in the village and small scale farming. I do poultry keeping project and this also earns me some income. The amount of money that I get through this is so small and cannot meet all the basic household items. I had no extra money to buy a dairy cow. I have children in various schools and I pay there school fees through this casual jobs. When I received the transfer I felt so happy because I knew I would be able to buy a heifer. Currently I have a heifer and I know that in the next fees months I will get milk when it reproduce. I will cut the daily cost of buying milk. I will save the money that I get to meet other household items I am so happy because GiveDirectly has given us hope and build our self esteem.
