What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a larger portion of my third transfer on both renovating and cementing house. I then paid a school fee of 7000 KES.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a cemented house. This has saved me from the stress of looking for mud and cow dung to repair my house every time since I decided on a long term plan. I'm happy too and feel relieved that my child is now in school studying without being sent back home for school fee.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by keeping their promises, they never disappoint.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying secondary school fee for my child (5,000 KES), purchase of fertilizer (1,500 KES) and a bag of dry corn for food (3,000 KES).
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt my heart reviving because I had actually been lying down on a seat and agonizing over just where my son’s fee would come from and yet there was only one more day left to raise his school fee-the school authorities had given him a notice of 3 days of which 2 had already lapsed. I could not see a way out and I had begun to feel faint-hearted until I received the money, thank you very much!

My happiest part of the day is Anytime of the day when I get money from someone to buy food.
