How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the cash transfers, my life would be so miserable. The cash transfers were a blessing in that I was able to acquire a good plot of land and feed my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did so well for instance these cash transfers saved me from poverty. On the otherhand I can not point out any wrong doings connected to GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer to pay off the remaining installment on the plot of land that I had acquired.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now sleep well on good beddings. Having held such a big amount of money am very happy and healthy.

The moment I received the transfer I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1,500,000ugx of my first transfer to deposite on land purchase. I bought household Items(a mattress and kitchen utensils) at 100, 0000ugx. I topped 100,000ugx on the money I had for buying cows for marrying.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is a threat of up bringing my children. My spouse left and am now finding difficulties in raising the children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is seeing my children playing and this is always evening hours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy oxen and ox-plough for ploughing gardens. These gardens i shall plant crops that inturn will provide food stuffs for my family.
