What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on plumbing tools and equipment. As a plumber, I was getting it hard to hire tools from colleagues every time I could get a job and this could even make me earn little than I deserved. I am happy that the condition is no longer the same, courtesy of Give Directly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I have my working tools and I don't need to hire anymore. This has made me to be recognized as one of the best plumbers so far in my community and my earnings have also gone a little bit higher. Besides, I have acquired more wealth-cows and goats which I consider as my future life. Generally, I can mention that my life is different than it would have been if I never received cash transfer in that I have acquired an improved living standard as mentioned here.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly sends us money directly something that we really appreciate but we are not yet contented with the amount given. I have a feeling that if we may be added more for sometime, our lives would even improve further, although we are still grateful for that which we have achieved.
