Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on the car road and decided to check my phone than I saw the message. I was too happy that i started rejoicing; I hurriedly came home to tell my family the good news. I wanted to renovate my house but didnt have the money to do such before. Now with this money i received I can do most of the things I want to do.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I get this money my plan plans are to construct concrete and modern house, and expand my rubber farm by planting more rubber trees I need a modern and concrete house so that I can feel relaxed. Having a concrete structure will last long as compare to what I currently have. Every year I am I have to find money to change the house roof because the thatch doesn't last long as compare to metal (zinc). And re-dup the house to have it in good form. Doing these I go through a lot of expenses. Now to have money every year and do those things is difficult for me. If have a concrete house I will not have to renovate it every year. With that, I can use that money for other pressing problems. This will also help my children when I'm no more around that they can have a house of their own. I will feel more comfortable and happy if I have a concrete house. Also, I want to expand my rubber farm by planting more trees so has to get more profit when I start to tap it. The current farm land planted is small, and it my not give me much profit that will take care of my family basic needs. if I can have it increases, that could help my children in the distribution of profit.
What is the happiest part of your day?
On march 21 of this year I got into a face fight I was hate on my head and got badly hurt and was taken to the Benson Hospital. While there, my senior pastor and his wife visited me on my sick bed, something that had never happened. This gesture make happy because I felt people are concern about me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges are, not being able to send my children to school due to lack of money, and difficult in getting sufficient money to expand my rubber. Not sending my children to school is a major challenge because it's like I am failing to take on my responsibility. I blame myself any time I think on my children school. I owe them a better lives, and failing to do it I will not forgive myself. I didn't want my children suffer by not going to school. By educating them will bring satisfaction to be, and take away my guilt. They will have better life for they and their family. The next challenge is not having money to develop my farm. The rubber is productive for the past years no making it difficult to get good profit. By expanding my farm I get more profit that can enable me handle my family problem.
