How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that my status has changed because I have constructed a permanent house that I will soon sleep in. previously, my home only had grass thatched houses that needed renovation every year, that was very costly for me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly's criteria is the best. They have targeted the most vulnerable people like me through giving unconditional cash transfer that has transformed my household from premitivity to modernity. I would prefer that GiveDirectly needs to give additional cash transfer in order to complete activities that we have not been able to complete.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer UGX 1159400 for buying building materials like bricks, cement, iron sheets, nails, wood preservative, whoop iron, a metallic door and two windows. I also paid for labour worth UGX 250,000. I have a balance of UGX 222,600 that I intend to spend on buying cement for plastering my house.
