Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when l received a message that my account was topup by GiveDirectly. I was so happy, so I wasted no time to call my boyfriend to share the good news. When he got back home, we both discussed and decided that I should use part of the money to enroll in school, and l did just that.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before GiveDirectly, l had difficulties in purchasing school materials amongst other things. Now, I'm able to at least get those things that I'm required to get by the school.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used part of the money to pay my tuition so l can go back to school. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is a graduate and he wants to further his education, we saved some of the money so we can add it to our next transfer.
