I do not have a new goal. I am still focused on my first plan.

Givedirectly did well by giving me money and bringing happiness to me. There is no bad they have done.

I bought two bundles of zinc and one cartoon of nails to continue my house project. I spent the rest of the money on my three children's school fees.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new plan or goals I initially planned to build a house and sent my children to school is what am engaged with now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am grateful for givedirectly coming to our community; things were not easy for us every time we raise money to build a house, all the money will go behind family trouble but since you givedirectly give us this transfer we have started building our house and sending our children to school. Honestly speaking givedirectly has not done any wrong in our community so to say.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My recent home is in a terrible disposition, it's not reliable neither comfortable for living. The rooftop leaked all over when the rain comes down. I will use portion of my transfer from GiveDirectly to buy zinc and change the roof of this house from thatched, and that will bring me the most joy.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy over the last 6 months was when my stepdaughter sent my Vita cubes and that was in October of 2021, though, I can not remember the date. I was really in need of it at the time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge now is finance. I need to change the roof of this house because it leaks a lot. During the rainy season, I have to relocate my belonging from one corner to another, which I think is not the way I suppose to live, and it hurts me a lot.
