How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received cash transfers because I now own a cow, added land that was lacking and now, I will have food security in my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well through giving unconditional cash transfers that have helped me to buy a cow for milk production nd land for cultivation. On the other hand, Give Directly needs to be giving additional cash transfers for some period of time like two or three years.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used it for buying a cow in order to help in milk production for the family. We also bought a half acre of land to add on what we already had. The land will help I in crop cultivation hand good security in the household.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I can now eat a variety of food and my self-esteem has also been raised.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfers, I was filled with a lot of joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I used 1,200,000ugx for purchasing a cow and a bull. The cow will help my household in milk production while the bull will help in opening up land for cultivation. I bought a set of chairs (A sofa set) worth 100,000ugx since we have been lacking. Because this transfer came in at a time when my mother was sick, I used 100,000ugx for paying her medical bills. The balance of 300,000ugx was spent on household feeding.
