How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better, because this transfer settled all my medical bills. I am now very healthy and strong as this transfer enabled me to seek recommended health services for my self. I'm going to plough my acre in time with my ox which will result to increased yields. Before, I was in pain because we couldn't afford the recommended treatment for my condition(I had a problem with my liver, ulcers and malaria). I did have an acre to cultivate instead I used to cultivate around the compound at the end reduced harvest that couldn't sustain my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me unconditional cash that I used for treating my self, hiring an acre of land and paying my dowry. GiveDirectly has not done bad in any way because I am over whelmed by joy because of this transfer.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing an ox at UGX 1,000,000 that I am going to use for ploughing. Hired an acre of land at UGX 200,000 that I will cultivating come rainy season. I was also able to get treated at UGX 250,000. I bought clothes, food and my spouse spent UGX 50,000.
