What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchase of 3 bags of cement at 84,000ugx for plastering my house, i got land on mortgage at 600,000ugx. I started business for produce with capital of 300,000ugx. I constructed a business stole, i also bought one mattress and registered my children for school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give us unconditional cash.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that i now have peace of mind because i have got what i desired in life. My children will be able to go to school this year with full school uniforms.

I was able to purchase household items, door and window, 3 bags of cement for completing our house construction.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was filled with joy to receive such massive support from an organisation that even does not know me and yet they give me without paying back.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My living conditions have improved because I have purchased a few household items like a bed, a mattress and utensils that have been lacking in my household. I have also finished my permenent house that I had started by fixing doors and windows hence we now sleep in a better house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am facing in my life is poverty. I have a dream of starting up a petrol selling business as my husband also does other things so that at the end of it all , we can put that money together and stat up a bigger thing but I am not able because there is no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is the evening when my children come back from school and they are telling me stories of what they could have seen in the course of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will be helped. This help will enable me and my family acquire a plot and and build a house at the centre and if all go well, use one room to do a produce business and rent out one side to generate money for maintaining the family.
