Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to start my own maize selling business. Considering the majority of the people here depend on purchasing maize, it will be sure of getting many customers. This will also boost my income sources to support my family daily needs
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months, I had not started receiving GiveDirectly transfers. I didn't have any hope in life. At the moment, I am now happier because my life has totally changed in that I can now smile knowing that I own a dairy cow not only as an asset but also as source milk for consumption.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that my life will change to be better. I believe my business will have picked up so well and so will cease working on casual labour for pay. My dairy cow will have also calved and that means I will no longer spend much on purchasing milk for my household consumption. I will also generate more income from the sale of surplus milk. Generally, I believe the wellbeing of my family will change to be better.
