Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt fine when I first saw my money because I'm a single mother with three (3) living children. I'm happy to be one of GD recipients because I'm a sustaince gardener with the income of little sales of some fruits. As the result, the money generated is not enough for my children and I up-keeping. As GD has committed herself to giving me four (4) transfers, these amounts will be used to construct house for my children and me as we are living in family house. This is the source of my happiness, an incoming house owner through GD. This dream couldn't have being achieved soon without the cash transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference the first transfer has made in my life is, I currently have some materials for my construction and my dream of owing my dwelling house will soon be achieved in few months.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The first transfer received was used to purchased 2 bouldle of iron zinc and some nail parks. These are part of the materials needed for the construction of my family house. As the other transfers come in the near future, it will enable me to build my house which is family ultimate goal.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I am making vegetables garden as my primary source of income and now my garden is no longer producing as expected because of the dry season so I want to start doing a stable business that will enable me to support my two children".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Last year December my little sister and her husband gave me a room within their house after my spouse divorced me because of some physical disability. So, I was happy about that".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"I have been selling the proceeds from my garden using the money to support my two children without help from their fathers, but now I have not been able to make some vegetables garden because of the dry season so finding daily meals is challenging for me".
