How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I was previously employed but I decided to quit the job and employ myself through farming and brick-making. This was a move that I made with the confidence of knowing that I would have the transfers to take care of my family's needs when I was still trying to find balance in my new hustle. Comparing what I earned before to what I make now, I can clearly see the difference and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made and I give all credits to Give Directly for giving me the confidence to take that step.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
One of my children is in her final year in primary school and will soon join high school and I will need to raise enough money for her school fees and other school requirements. For this reason, I will invest most of my next transfers either on tomato farming or brick-making which are my current sources income. This is the only way I have that I can invest the transfers and have better returns.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference I have witnessed in my daily life over the past four months is that I have settled well after quitting my previous job. Having no definite source of income was tough because there was no salary and I was still trying to set up some other avenues of income. During that period, the transfers that my wife and receive came in handy and it was not tough to get by at all. I am quite stable now that I have ventured into tomato farming and brick-making which I had the confidence to start knowing that my family would not starve because the transfers would cater to our family needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With the plans I have of expanding the projects I am working on of brick-making and tomato farming, I hope that in six months, I will have set aside enough savings through the proceeds of the projects. This will give me an easy time paying school fees for my child who will be joining high school next year and will also take the projects to new heights.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am so proud of what GD transfers have helped me achieve over the past few months. I am now living in a decent house which I was able to construct mostly using GD transfers, my family members are very healthy can afford better meals because my farming projects generate a daily income that ensures they can have food even in my absence, and most of all, I can afford to pay my children's school fees without much of a struggle.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been plastering my house which was made of mud before so that it can be more durable and presentable. I have completed only a section of the house and would wish to complete the remaining parts. My plan right now is to use all my transfers to buy the necessary materials so that I can complete the plastering as soon as possible.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have managed to invest my transfers over the past few months in farming which has greatly increased my daily income and reduced my daily expenditure. I have chickens that lay eggs that can be sold for money or even used for household meals. This means that my family can never go hungry even on those days that I have no money or have exhausted my salary.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I want to be able to fully venture into farming so that I can eventually quit my current job which is very hectic yet very poorly paying and become self employed in the next six months. I have come to realize that farming pays well and all it requires is dedication which is what I want to practice so that I can turn my life around financially.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because I am feeling less burdened than I was before. As a matter of facts, I can easily acquire some foodstuffs for my household and my family always feed well. Lastly, I am also able to seek for better medication whenever my wife falls sick.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals in the next four months are to start and grow my poultry farm, from which I will be able to raise more eggs and chicken for sale thus earn more income. I also aspire to furnish my house with a new set of chairs. Since I have bought building sand and six bags of cement, I hope that when I receive my transfers for the next four months, I will spend them on buying more bags of cement and thereafter plaster my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life for the last four months preceding the current transfer is owning a new and spacious house. Previously, I was living in a small house which I built when establishing my homestead. I did not have sufficient money by then to build a bigger house. Moreover, I am always at peace because of the assurance of the monthly transfers, unlike before when I had to fully depend on unreliable casual jobs. I have also built a chicken house from which I am planning to start poultry farming. For a long time, I have been desiring to have a poultry farm.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change positively in the next six months as a result of the increase in my income. I am projecting to have an increase in the number of my domestic fowls. I will, therefore, be able to sell eggs and some chicken to increase my earning. Lastly, I expect to concentrate on poultry farming and thereafter resign from my casual job and become self-independent.
