What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought cement and Paint for plastering and painting the house. I did not have a proper sleeping place, therefore I have bought mattress and blankets. I have also topped up on the Bags of Maize i have, to have enough food in my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done so well. In my case, i have been able to maintain My house, Buy food all according to My needs. I am very thankful and it should do, what it has done to me to other people as well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My New goals includes starting a business which would allow me to generate more profits which would be able to sustain my family. I would also want to have Farming inputs like treadle pumps and whose pipes.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 10 iron sheets, 7 bags of cement, mattress and saved some to pay builders. I want to extend my house from single bed roomed to 3 bedrooms so that i can also ably stock my harvest with ease.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Receiving this transfer is the biggest difference in my life. I have never received this much money in my entire life; even my forefathers have never received this much money. I had always wanted to extend my house from one bedroom to three, and now this is being made possible with your support. Thank you.

When i was just registered for the program, i was like will i really receive this much money. And when i received, i was very very happy. I have never received this much money in my life before; even my grandfathers have never received this much money. Thank you so much

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we usually face is lack of money since our only occupation is farming due to inadequate farm inputs most times we yield handful harvest and this result to us suffering from hunger,we also don't have a proper house and sleeping place we will surely be glad if we ever manage to buy a sleeping matt.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during morning hours because thats when we eat our first meal of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a blessing to us we are sure this money will help us to solve some of our household problems for example lack of a descent house,clothes and food.
